Liberian striker William Jebor have completed his return to Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca on a free transfer after terminating his contract with Al Nassr KSA four months ago.
Jebor had joined Wydad in summer 2016 from Portuguese side Rio Ave and had a successful campaign with the Moroccan side where he was named the Moroccan first division top scorer with 19 goals.
The CAF Champions League title holders have finalised the signing of Jebor on Monday for an undisclosed fee after team coach Faouzi Benzarti requested the signing of a striker.
Afterwards, the 26-year-old forward agreed a three-year contract with Al Nassr a year later, however Jebor’s spell in Saudi Arabia did not witness the coveted success as he only featured in 11 matches in the Saudi Professional League in his first six months with Al A’alamy, before they decided to rescind the former Tala’a El-Gaish striker’s contract by mutual consent.
Jebor becomes Wydad’s third signing this summer after Tunisia’s Oussama Darragi and Nigerian forward Michael Babatunde.
