Barrack Young Controllers has added another prolific player to it’s contingent of players for the next season this could be a team building process and will see a significant power upfront for the team . The new addition is LISCR FC’s attacking player Fallah Sheriff after signing Club Beers FC goalie .
LISCR FC’s forward Fallah Sheriff might have impressed the Barrack Young Controllers scout during last season with his signing ,brings a more force to the front line of the ‘Go Blue ‘ squad for next season . Fallah,18-year-old was a threat to BYC and on several occasion.
According to an inside source , as usual the amount involved was undisclosed .But the forward Sheriff penned a three-year deal with the ‘Go Blue’ . He is ranked as one of the most prolific forwards on the local scene and after several seasons with the Gardnersville FC , the junior side of LISCR FC .
He ended the season with six league matches due to a knee injury from a local derby . He returned the action when he was called up by national team head coach James Debbah to formed part of the local Lonestar for the for just ended 2017 WAFU Cup of Nations in Ghana but ended it on an appalling notewhere he missed Lone Star’s final penalty that booted the team out of the tournament.
Sheriff, was one of the key players in Gambian international coach Tapha Manneh’s team last season, and made over six starts and netted three goals, mostly crucial equalizer against team such ELWA United.The former LISCR forward and national team player was also joined by former Keitrace defender Swen as the two latest addition the PHP base team .
It can recalled that Sheriff, was part of LISCR FC’shistoric ‘Double Championship’ for the season 2016/2017 , He posted on his official Facebook page, “I am grateful to God for another opportunity, new club, new home, and new teammates. Go Blue!”
