Liberian international player William Jebor has finally completed his return to Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca, on a free transfer after terminating his contract with Al Nassr KSA in Saudi Arabia.Liberiasportsonline can confirm this from Moroccan checks .
Jebor had earlier arrived in Morocco in July to sign his contract, and was awaiting the formalization of his return to the club.Jebor joined Wydad in summer 2016, from Portuguese side Rio Ave, and had a successful campaign with the Moroccan side where he was named the Moroccan first division top scorer with 19 goals.
The 26-year-old forward later moved to Al Nassr, where he agreed a three-year contract with the Saudi Arabian Club. His move to the Saudi Arabian league was marred by criticism, which later increased after Wydad won the CAF Champions League, the following season after he left the club.
Wydad Club president, Said Naciri, told the media that the Liberian striker officially signed a three-year contract with the club last week, and will form part of the team’s lineup for their upcoming matches.Naciri made the announcement on the sidelines of a farewell conference to the club Tunisian coach, Faouzi Benzarti, who took the reins of the selection of his country.
Jebor’s mind was focused on delivering the his best performance for Al Nassr, but did not accomplish his aims, something that led to the termination of his contract with the Saudi Abraian Club on a mutual understanding. While at Al Nassr, he featured in 11 matches in the Saudi Professional League in the first six months.
