After a two-month hiatus the Liberia Football Association (LFA) will this weekend return to action huge fireworks in the Women’s football. All eyes will turn to female football at the Tusa Field this weekend when the LFA resumes the 2016/2017 Women’s national league.
At least eight clubs will continue their participation in the women elite division as the league season draws to a permanent closure.The resumption of the league is expected to play within the communities. The league will be play at the Tusa Field in Gardnersville, the Voka Mission sports pitch in Paynesville, the Right To Play ground at the SKD Stadium, the Barnersville Estate field, Francoise Massaquoi in West point and the Antoinette Tubman Stadium.
The fixture which has been released by the Competition Department disclosed that Blanco FC will resume phase two of the 2016/2017 campaign away from home soil on Saturday, November 11.The Barnersville-based outfit will travel to World Girls FC at the Tusa Field in Gardnersville in a match-day one first fixture at 10:30AM.
In the day’s second fixture; Island Queens will also play host to Earth Angels at 12:30pm in a battle that will witness the both club fight to secure a win.
Liberia reigning champions; Senior Pros will battle Naskids in the third showpiece of the day at 2:30 PM while the last showpiece of the day will see Pro Sisters fight to secure points when they faceoff Determine Girls at 4:30pm.The competition will continue on Sunday at the same venue with interesting soccer action.
In game one World Girls will come face-to-face against Blanco 10:30, Island Queens and Earth Angels will sort things out in the day’s second encounter at 12:30pm. Senior Pro ill meet Naskids at 2:30pm while Pro Sisters will clash up with Determine Girls @4:30pm.
